Sunday at the Palace with Sondheim

Sunday at the Palace with Sondheim is a joyful, intimate celebration of one of musical theatre’s greatest and most influential composers, set in the heart of London’s home for new writing.

Inspired by the legendary Sunday in the Park with George, this special concert brings together an outstanding cast of performers to explore the brilliance, wit, and emotional depth of Stephen Sondheim’s extraordinary body of work.

From razor-sharp comedy to devastating honesty, Sondheim’s songs capture the messiness of human connection like no one else, and this evening invites audiences to sit with those songs up close. Expect iconic numbers alongside lesser-heard gems, all performed with clarity, care, and a deep respect for the storytelling at the heart of the music.

Whether you’re a lifelong Sondheim devotee or discovering his work for the first time, Sunday at the Palace with Sondheim offers a warm, thoughtful, and celebratory evening — one that honours legacy while feeling alive, immediate, and deeply human. A love letter to the music, the lyrics, and the moments that make us stop and listen.

Spend your Sunday at The Other Palace with one of musical theatre’s greatest voices. Sunday at the Palace with Sondheim is an intimate concert celebrating the wit, heart, and humanity of Stephen Sondheim’s unforgettable songs.

Featuring a stunning cast and a carefully curated selection of iconic numbers and hidden gems, this is a warm, thoughtful evening for die-hard fans and newcomers alike.
